AngerForce:Reloaded and Metalgal

AngerForce:Reloaded and Metalgal

Two interesting games this week and both retro style shooters as well…. lol  Metalgal, a “Blue Bomber” style clone in which as Metalgal you have to save your sisters and the professor from an evil mad Colonel from taking over the world.  Go though theme specific levels, defeating enemies and obtaining your sisters special powers and moving forward.  The second game that we tested was a top down shooter that is AngerForce:Reloaded.  AngerForce:Reloaded Is a throwback to the classic 90’s style of top down shooters, the story is simple robots are trying to take over and it is up to you and your team to take them out.  With 2 player local co-op, leaderboards, and other goodies this is a great game.

When Metalgal came across our desk to review, we saw a lot of similarities between this game and the Mega Man series.   The game has the same formula of the “Blue Bomber” where you go to different stages to fight a boss , take their powers and move forward.  For those that love the Mega Man series, they will love the game and gameplay, however in our playtesting we did some concerns in the game and gameplay.  Be sure to read our review and read our thoughts on the game.

AngerForce:Reloaded is a true classic 90’s style shooter that anyone that loves top down shooters will feel right at home.  With four different characters, boss rush mode, a story and arcade mode, there is a lot to do in this great game.  Also the game offers the ability to power up each individual characters power ups where it gives more depth to the game.  This is a must have shooter for any shooters fans in your gaming family.  Be sure to check out our review on AngerForce:Reloaded.

Metalgal (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch) and AngerForce:Reloaded (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One) are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
