The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

This week we got a chance during the week try out The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.  Captain Spirit is a point and click type of game that is from the creators of the Life is Strange series.  As in its fashion you control a character, Chris in this game and his daily life.  What makes this such a great game to have in your digital library (outside of it being free!!!) is that the game has a great story to it.  As the game is a M rated title, anyone that is a fan of the Life is Strange series will love how this game story of father and son sets up the new Life is Strange 2 game that will be out this September.  Now I must play spoiler and have to say that just like any other Life is Strange game out there.  The game covers some topics that some younger gamers may not be comfortable with, let alone any gamer.  It deals with the father in the game being an alcoholic and his loss of his wife and Chris’s mother.  Now before that you think there is any violence in the game, there is not any, well at least in this game. It is more of the dynamic of father and son dealing with daily life and the father drinking and how the son turns daily household choirs into adventures where his alter ego Captain Spirit comes out.  Again, this is a wonderful game to play and I highly recommend too pick this game up.  You can watch some gameplay footage of the game below in the video.  Now if you have never played any of the Life is Strange series games, I highly recommend it.    Also if you are interesting in the game, you can read our review here.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is available now on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC for download.  Be sure to download this great title and give it a try!
