FoxyLand and FoxyLand 2

FoxyLand and FoxyLand 2

This week we had a chance to test out two 8-bit inspired action, platform games that are FoxyLand and FoxyLand 2.  FoxyLand is an action/platform game where you as a fox must save your love one from the evil wolves that kidnap her.  You go through levels collecting coins and reaching each level to get closer to saving your love one.  In FoxyLand 2 it is the direct sequel where you and your wife must save your children from the evil wolves.  With co-op play, more levels and more challenges the game is a true game to succeed the first one

In FoxyLand you play as a fox that is on a mission to save their love one from the evil wolves that kidnapped her.  Go through the forest and wood and run, jump and collect to get closer to your goal of saving your love one.  This is a great 8-bit game for anyone out there that is looking for an action/platformer that is from the old NES days.  Using a health bar and easy controls and gameplay, FoxyLand is a great game for any that are looking for a easy, action/platformer this is a good game to pick up for your digital library.  Be sure to read our review here and check out some gameplay footage below of FoxyLand.

When it is a rare treat to review two games that are the same and a sequel, we were excited to review the sequel to FoxyLand.  In FoxyLand 2 this time its your children that are taken by the evil wolves.  With local co-op play, more levels, secret levels and boss battles makes this a true sequel.  However, we had some concerns with the gameplay, and some difficulty changes that make the game unplayable for older gamers or gamers that are not used to playing action/platformers.  Be sure to read our review and thoughts on the game and see some gameplay footage below of FoxyLand 2.

As always be sure to check your console digital store for FoxyLand, and FoxyLand 2 (Xbox One, PlayStation4, Nintendo Switch, PC) both that are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
