Watch Dogs: Legion and Bright Memory

Watch Dogs: Legion and Bright Memory

As we are getting closer to the end of 2020 and the holidays are also creeping up closer to us, we had a chance to review two different but unique games this week while still maintaining social distancing and remote reviewing with our gaming family and staff.  Watch Dogs: Legion is the 3rd installment in the Watch Dogs series of open world games.  In this game you do not play as a single hero in an open world city but anyone that you can recruit in the city of London.  An interesting take on the open world gaming but still something not to miss out on.  Also, another interesting game was Bright Memory.  In this first-person action shooter, you play as Shelia and as her, you must stop an evil organization from taking over the world.  An interesting shooter where you chain combos and rack up points with a combination of ways of taking out your opponents, also did we mention that this is an Xbox One Series X exclusive?

When the first Watch Dogs game was released several years ago, it was a mix bag of open world exploration of Chicago, combat both on foot and in a car, but the unique aspect of the game was the ability to use the character smartphone to hack your way through the game.  As the series grew, so did the abilities in the second Watch Dogs game that took place in San Francisco and in this newest edition of the series, which takes place in London, you play as multiple heroes that you recruit throughout the game.  An interesting take on the game as each character has their own unique trait that they bring to the gameplay.  Be sure to check out our review of Watch Dogs: Legion here and watch some gameplay footage below of the game in action.

When we were looking for games that are in 4K, we ran across an interesting title in the Xbox Market Place that stated that it was exclusive for the Xbox One Series X/S, so that caught our attention.  When we were able to get our hands on our first Xbox One Series X here at the office, we wanted to see what this game has in store.  So, we decided to get Bright Memory and give it a spin.  We do have to say that the game is unique in its design as it is from a one person team, but throughout the game we saw some wonderful and fantastic things that this game has to offer as well some concerns on our playthrough.  Be sure to read our review here and check out some of the gameplay of the game below in the video to see for yourself of the game in action.

As always be sure to check your console digital store for both Watch Dogs Legion (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC) and Bright Memory (Xbox One Series X/S, PC) both games are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
