As 2019 is here, and as the winter months also show that gaming is slowing up a little bit, we here at Family Gamer Review still have lots of games to go through to review so you can find the best game for your gaming family. This week we got a chance to try out two different games that are fun for the gaming family. Lazy Galaxy: Rebel Story is a fast-paced shooter that allows you to gain allies that you can use to help you in each stage to defeat enemy ships and bosses. Another great game this week that we tried out was Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. In this action/platformer you play as Shantae as she goes from each level setting to defeat bosses and obtain power ups. The game is very reminiscence of the older Sonic The Hedgehogs games from the Sega Genesis days.

Lazy Galaxy: Rebel Story is a shooter in which you must play. You are a robot that awakes from a deep sleep and is wondering why the space that he woke up in is now in the hands of his enemy. With the ability to gain allies during the game, different styles of play from a casual setting to permadeath in harder settings, there is something for everyone in your gaming family. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a fun and challenging action/platformer. In the game you play as the half genie Shantae taking on different quests from other characters to go to different worlds to defeat enemies and bosses. The game has a charming story to it and encourages different playthroughs for each level after you have obtained a new power up. It is very Metrovania in its style of gameplay. Also, the graphics are some of the best we have seen on a platform game. Now as the game is rated T – For Teen it may not be for all your gaming family to play.
