Freddie Spaghetti and Crawlco Block Knockers

Freddie Spaghetti and Crawlco Block Knockers

In this first month of the new year, we here at Family Gamer Review has a chance to review two different but great games. Freddie Spaghetti a physics-based game where you play as a self-aware strand of spaghetti that must venture into the world and discover what the world hold for him.  Another game that we had to chance to review for the Nintendo Switch is Crawlco Block Knockers.  This game is a mature game where you work in a warehouse to match blocks to discover what is the image that is formed with the blocks being matched.  An interesting game indeed.

When we heard about Freddie Spaghetti and saw video footage of this game, we were excited about how this game is similar of games like Untitled Goose Game and other similar games like this.  When we had a chance to play the game, we were surprised and disappointed in the game.  The game is fun and frustrating but as any game it is all about who is playing the game and what they get out of it.  Watch some game play footage below and be sure to read our review here of Freddie Spaghetti.

When we received Crawlco Block Knockers review code on our desk, the first thing that we notice that this was a more mature game for the Nintendo Switch, again it surprised that Nintendo allowed this game to come to the console, but this game was a welcomed addition to the library.  With a fun block puzzle aspect of the game where you match blocks of three to form a picture, we found the game to be a pure joy to play on the Switch.  The game is challenging but still fun for all ages and the game had a modest mode to allow those that are playing this on the go to play without feeling embarrassed.  Truly a game to have for your Nintendo Switch library.  Be sure to watch some of the gameplay footage below and read our thoughts and our review of Crawlco Block Knockers.

As always be sure to check your console digital store for both Freddie Spagetti (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC) and Crawlco Block Knockers (Nintendo Switch, PC) both games are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
