Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Waifu Uncovered

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Waifu Uncovered

As we are officially into the new year, 2021 has a lot going for it when it comes to the gaming industry.  We already have the launch of the Sony PlayStation PS5 and Microsoft Xbox One Series X/S and the games that are upscaled are showing promise with its upgraded graphics and faster load times.  This week we got a chance to review an iconic series and something different on a console that is known for their mature type of games.  Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War a fantastic game that takes places during the 80’s cold war.  Another title was Waifu Uncovered.  A top-down shooter where it is all about stopping an alien virus from attacking 8 maidens.  Remarkably interesting game to say the least.

We all know that Call of Duty has been king of the online gaming world for over a decade.  With its strong following of the multiplayer and very well-done single player story, Call of Duty offers something news to its old formula of military style of gun combat.  With Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War this game is no different.  With its solid story of the 80’s cold war between the United States and Russia and a very rock-solid multiplayer and co-op zombie’s mode, this latest addition to the series should not be missed by any COD fan.  This game has lots of offer to both casual gamers and hard-core FPS shooter fans alike. Also, for those that own a PS5 or an Xbox One Series X/S the upgraded visuals alone are worth the price of admission to see this game in motion. Be sure to read our review here of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and watch some video footage below of the game in action.

Nintendo has always been known for being more family oriented in its gaming.  If you look at their catalog of games over the last several decades, their gaming catalog has always been more towards family and general audience gaming.  So, when we received a code from the developers of Waifu Uncovered we were taken a little back by how the game is and the mature theme and content that the game has to offer.  The game is a top-down shooter where you must destroy the clothing that is infected by an alien virus and help the eight maidens under attack.  This game had nudity and a lot of it.  As the game is more anime in its nature, we did our control testing with a more mature audience, but what surprised me as well other testers that there is a fun shooter underneath this game. Interesting but still a game for shooter fans or gamers that have a Nintendo Switch that are looking for more mature titles for their handheld console.  Be sure to read our review and watch some of the gameplay footage below of the game in action.

As always be sure to check your console digital store for both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC) and Waifu Uncovered (Nintendo Switch, PC) both games are available now.  Be sure to download these games and give it a try!
