This week was a week of offers that we could not refused….lol A great week to review two great remastered games. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remaster version of the original game from 2002. With new cut scenes, more dialog, updated graphics, audio, score, and gameplay, and in 4K. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a fantastic remaster game. 2K also did another great remastered with Mafia II. The game is still the same as it was almost a decade ago but with all three of the DLC, updated 4K graphics, and everything that made the game a true classic is still there. Both games are a must have for your digital library.
When the original Mafia was released back in 2002, the game had everything that you would want from a mob game. From a fantastic story of Tommy and his rise from being a cab driver to being a trusted member of the mob to his life within the family and the fallout. This story alone is worthy of movies like Goodfellas, Casino and other classic mob style of movies. Mafia: Definition Edition is everything that you remembered of the game and more. Upgraded graphics, new audio, gameplay, and additional story added to the game, turns this masterpiece into something more that is worth playing. When remastered are in the pipeline of developers to bring out in the market, it can be a dangerous gamble. Some developers can make a remastered that once was a true classic into a bad game, and other times remastered games that are done are better then the original. In the case of Mafia II: Definition Edition the game is not only done well but the additional graphic upgrades, controls, all of the DLC that came with the game. It not only completes the story but it gives more insight of the characters and what role they played in the faith of Tommy from the first game. The 4K graphics upgrade alone is worth the price to replay this classic. Trust us when we say that this is a remastered game that should not be missed.
